TERMS & CONDITIONS

Newlands Cleaning Company provides professional cleaning services for your Home, Vehicle, or Workplace.

1) Safety & Access Requirements

For insurance purposes and the safety of our staff and the public, we require a safe and suitable area to carry out our work.

​

2) Mobile Valeting Conditions

Newlands Cleaning Company will not commence work on any vehicle that is located:

• On a busy road where safety is at risk

• On narrow or tight streets where safe parking is limited

• In pay-and-display car parks

If the location you’d like the valet carried out at may be unsuitable, please contact us before booking. With experience and flexibility, we can often help find a solution.

3) Vehicle Condition & Additional Charges

When booking your valet, please consider the condition of your vehicle interior. If your vehicle is heavily soiled with any of the following, additional charges may apply:

• Heavy mud

• Excessive pet hair

• Mould

• Vomit

• Blood or similar contamination

We strongly recommend sending a few clear photos before booking so we can provide a fair estimate. If this is not disclosed in advance, pricing may be reviewed and agreed on arrival before work begins.

4) Preparing Your Vehicle

To provide the best possible service, vehicles should be cleared of personal items including:

• Door pockets

• Centre console

• Boot space

Due to insurance reasons, we cannot remove or install child car seats. However, we are happy to clean them if left accessible (for example, placed in the boot).

5) Monthly Maintenance (MM)

Monthly Maintenance is designed to keep your vehicle feeling consistently fresh on a 2 to 4 week basis.

Please note:

• Vehicles must be booked within 4 weeks of “The Works” to qualify for Monthly Maintenance

• Heavily soiled vehicles should expect additional charges

• Monthly Maintenance is for vehicles that have had “The Works” package or are brand new​
   

6) Exterior Cleaning Conditions

To allow us to work safely and efficiently, we ask that the work area is cleared of items such as:

• Garden objects

• Bins

• Benches

• Plant pots

During quotation, a thorough inspection of the property will be carried out. Any broken objects or existing damage on or near the working area may be noted for reference.

7) Booking Conditions, Deposits & Cancellations

All new bookings are deposit-based, and bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid.

Deposits are paid via bank transfer directly to Newlands Valeting LTD.

Deposit policy:

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Deposits are non-transferable

• Deposit amounts vary depending on location, package, and work required

Within 48 hours of booking, Newlands Cleaning Company can alter your booking to another nominated person, providing the new address/location meets all terms and conditions.

We cannot control delays or cancellations caused by traffic, severe weather (“acts of God”), or third parties. If we have to cancel or rearrange due to unforeseen circumstances, we will aim to reschedule within 14 days of the original booking. If this is not possible, a full refund of the deposit will be honoured.

8) Photos & Marketing

We reserve the right to take photos/videos of our work for advertising purposes. However, we will never share:

• Vehicle registration plates

• Addresses

• Work locations

If you would prefer your vehicle or property not to be featured, simply let us know — we are happy to accommodate your request.

9) Missed Bookings & Non-Attendance

By booking with Newlands Cleaning Company, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Any booking that cannot proceed due to the conditions outlined above may result in full booking charges being payable, and an invoice may be issued.

Failure to pay may result in further action being taken. Missed bookings impact our schedule and wages, so we ask customers to be considerate when booking.
